Ensuring that the expectations for the player behavior is clearly stated at the beginning of the season.

Functions of the Coach

The coaches of the HSC Youth Program will be held to the standard noted below:

· Encourage coaches to maintain knowledge of current/new coaching techniques.

· Provide competitive and educational environment for players of all age and abilities.

Duties & Coach Code of Ethics

• Know and understand the Laws of the Game.

• Arrive at schedule practices and games early enough to conduct any required setup before the sessions official start time.

•Educate the players to the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological demands of the game for their level.

• Develop the player’s appreciation of the game.

• Encourage and educate players in good sportsmanship and fair play mannerism.

• Ensure practices are conducted in a spirit of enjoyment and learning where player have fun and receive positive feedback.

• Strive to help players reach their full potential and train them to grow towards the next stage of skill development.

•  Be a positive role model. No use of abusive language or profanity.

• Be sensitive to each child’s developmental needs.

 • Always maintain professional conduct.
